Here we have a plastering patch repair, covering another's poor plastering job. 4 different layers of plaster skim was added by various plasterers to try cover up a mistake from the original builders - but this did not rectify it and instead, a joint which had been improperly plaster-boarded led to years of the same crack reappearing. 

When the client had me look at this, I diagnosed the problem and it was fixed in a couple of days, leaving the client very happy.
